The settlement of Patalenitza – Batkun is situated in the west of Pazardjik area, at the foot of The Rhodopa Mountains, 15 km away from the town of Pazardjik. The nearest villages are Debrashtitza, Tzrancha, Vetren dol, and Lyahovo and behind the Rhodopean hill Karkarya – the Village of Dorkovo.
The altitude is 370m and the area is 1800 decares. In1995 the neighbouring villages of
Patalenitza and Batkun united into one village – Patalenitza.
