The pedagogical team of the school

 

 
The main problem, which stood in front of us some years ago, was – the lack of resources, the mass apathy and the inactivity. Except the traditional education process, nothing happened. Naturally a question arose. "How can we awake the people initiative; How can we develop the creative potential of the children, parents and teachers?"
What did we do? At the end of 1997 A group of teachers registered an association with non-economic goal "Help for children in risk" Its main goal is to develop the educational, cultural and intellectual level of the children. Almost half a year after that, we made a study of the financial possibilities and established some

connections. At the same time we started developing several of our ideas seriously. We instituted an inquiry of some children, parents and teachers to get useful information and to investigate their attitude.

Gradually we started several projects won by "Help for children in risk" Association. In fact we developed a kind of project pedagogue in practice. It was one of the big challenges, which we met, in our personal negative programming. Some of us did not believe in it and declared that nothing will change. Some of us did not wait for the time to prove that we were wrong and we were warmed up to emotion, which these new activities generated. There was a big difference between this idea and the old school activities.

The last years school experience disproves the doubts. Looking back at the time we can say calmly that we were satisfied only in the moments of a breakthrough – a won and well realized project. These moments helped us to get free from inertia, apathy, and the unpleasant feeling that we could not counter act to anything that might endanger the children security. developed various programs concerning the work with children:

-Ethnographical workshop for children. Teachers and children make unique toys and things from natural materials. The protection and popularization of the local and cultural heritage are our priority.
-Ïðàâîñëàâíî îáðàçîâàíèå: Ñúçäàäîõìå èñòèíñêî ó÷èëèùå ïî ïðàâîñëàâèå. Îðãàíèçèðàõìå îáó÷åíèå ïî Ðåëèãèÿ. Ñúçäàäîõìå õîð çà ÷åðêîâíî-ñëàâÿíñêè ïåñíîïåíèÿ è øêîëà ïî èêîíîïèñ.
-Icon-painting school. The children from this school have been devoting themselves to the secret of icon-painting for five years.

-Disabled children integration. We carried out three projects with "Belief, Hope and Love" Nursery for Disabled Children – Pazardjik.

-Problems with communication, anti drug, and sexual education. Since 1999 we have been developing programs for gender education, prevention of violence upon children, anti drug and sexual education.

-Parents participation in the education. Board of school trustees has been registered. Through various projects this board develop the necessary school equipment.

-Sports and tourism. Sport takes an important role in our school life. Our teams have been municipal and regional winners in football and table tennis competitions. We have won some first places in athletic long-distance races and in chess competitions. We often organize excursions and school tournaments in football, volleyball, basketball, Canadian wrestling and power competition.
